Center City hosts Eagles pep rally

Atria Center City recently played host to a Philadelphia Eagles pep rally. Former wide receiver Fred Barnett was accompanied by The Eagles Pep Band, Swoop the Mascot and two Eagles cheerleaders. During the rally, residents and staff were entertained by The Pep Band with a number of musical selections along with Eagles cheers. Door prizes were awarded, and autographs of the cheerleaders and Fred Barnett were given to the residents and staff. In keeping with The Philly theme, soft pretzels and Tastykakes were served. The pep rally was made possible through the generosity of the Eagles and the Pennsylvania Lottery.

I love the joy of the people who live here, as well as the warmth of the friendships that I have developed. I also love that there are still programs and occasions that I have not yet experienced. Fresh air, friends and exercise – what more could you ask for?
