Before I came to Atria Kennebunk,my health was quickly declining, my world was becoming smaller and I was losing interest in everything and everyone. Upon my arrival here, I was made to feel a part of a very special group of people, both staff and residents. My whole life has changed.

My health has improved dramatically, my social life has taken a 100 percent turnaround, and I look forward to getting up every day. Boredom had been a constant enemy. Now there aren’t enough hours in the day. There seems to be an activity or trip to suit everyone’s interests. As for me, I’m back to enjoying crafts and knitting again. I enjoy socializing and the food is great.

I so appreciate the friendly staff and my new friends. I feel I have entered a whole new bright and happy world. My family has nicknamed me “Mrs. Happy Feet” because they have a hard time catching up with me.
